Our first YESS tournament took place Saturday 16th of September. The team shot 100 Sporting Clays and 50 Trap. It was fantastic to compete and continue to round into form for the season. I am proud of everyone who showed up and shot because I know how much you practice.
 
I want to highlight our athletes this weekend. While we may have not shot the scores we are used to as the back-to-back-to-back state champions, our goal is to improve, and we are doing that. In senior men, Garrett Briggs took 4th in HOA with a 134. In JV men Wyatt Hinckley took 3rd in HOA with a 129. In Senior Ladies, Abigail Hinckley took 4th in HOA with a 114. In JV Ladies, Charlize Pei took 3rd in HOA with a 114.
 
Let’s come to practice with an objective and use our time on Monday nights efficiently. Everyone on this team is focused on improvement so this should not be a problem.
