Shooters AND Parents, PLEASE RSVP by this Friday, 1/19/24.

Each shooter will need enough ammo to shoot 50 Skeet, 50 Trap, and 25 5-Stand, plus extra for Shoot-offs. We would love to see everyone at this event. The only requirements are that you’ve attended a practice and demonstrated proper gun safety (and therefore cleared by a coach). If there is any question about whether you are cleared, please, just ask a coach at the next practice.

For those that have not attended an Iron Dragon before, this is quite different from our normal tournament events. We mix squads, combining all the different skill levels and ages. This gives newer team members the opportunity to get comfortable shooting in a tournament environment alongside more experienced Dragons while competing for individual, squad and team awards. It is a fun day that will kick start the second semester and make sure everyone is ready to sign up for upcoming tournaments this spring.

We will have coffee/hot chocolate and breakfast items in the morning and Jersey Mikes catered for lunch.

We will be posting squads next week. Plan to check in at our regular practice location (Northlake Shooting Sports/DFW Adventure Park) between 8:00-8:30am. Be ready to begin shooting at 9:00am.

WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS TO RUN SMOOTHLY. Each parent can RSVP separately from their child. You can assign yourself a duty (or you might get one you don’t want). This is a super low-pressure environment and a great opportunity to learn. We are all happy to teach you how to pull or score, even if you never have before. We will need parents to pull targets, score and run scorecards. Sign up! You will be glad you did!
