On March 2, 2024, it was a gorgeous sunny day. Dragons competed at the Texas YESS Alpine tournament and shot 100 Sporting Clays and 50 Supers. The team took 3rd place overall and we have a Ladies HOA Winner, Abby Hinckley! Outstanding Job, Abby!

Alpine is always fun on the Browning and Blaser courses with some hard stations! If you get a chance, go there and practice on your own as TX YESS State will be at Alpine in May.

As typical, Texas YESS is super nice to the seniors and gives back to them at every single event. Seniors who stuck around until the very end of awards, Abigail Hinckley and Garrett Briggs, get their Trap for FREE at the next shoot. Something to look forward to when younger athletes become seniors.

Last, those of us that stuck around, got to celebrate Roger Guerra’s birthday by singing and having some cake. It was a “big one”, per Roger and his birthday was the next day.
