April 27, 2024 was the largest TX YESS event yet with 160 shooters at Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch. The tournament was 100 Sporting Clays and 50 Supers.
Southlake Carroll Dragons took 2nd place Team HOA and Abby Hinckley also earned the 2nd place HOA Ladies!
Weather was humid in the mid 70s but super windy all day and got windier as the afternoon went on.

Personally, I want to say a HUGE Congratulations to all of our shooters. It was our last regular season tournament for YESS. Lots of high scores by all (our team and the other teams) and the results were super close. In fact, there was a 7 way tie for 3rd place with Mens Varsity on Supers. SCTT had 3 Dragons in that shoot off.
Plus TXYESS gave out a cash bonus for seniors, each were given $20 at awards! For some seniors, it was their last clay target tournament! Congratulations Seniors – you’ll be missed!

Clancy Day took 2nd place and the team trophy was awarded to her for display.
