SCTP Texas State Championship - Individual Award Winners 2026

In addition to capturing the 2026 SCTP Texas State HOA Championship, Southlake Carroll athletes earned numerous individual awards across multiple disciplines. From State Championships to podium finishes and joining the Texas State All Star team for SCTP Nationals. Congratulations to Charlize Pei for melding in almost all events.

Sporting Clays
Two Dragons secured Top-5 finishes in Sporting Clays.

Keller Hindt – 4th Place, Varsity (score of 92)
Abigail Garcia – 4th Place, Lady Intermediate/Entry Level (61)

Skeet
Southlake Carroll athletes delivered some of the highest scores in the event.

Ross Wilson – Tied for 2nd Place, Varsity (99), finishing 6th after a shoot-off
Charlize Pei – 4th Place, Lady Varsity (96)

Skeet Texas State All Star Team: Ross Wilson (99) and Ethan Thomason (98) will represent Texas at the National SCTP competition in Ohio as part of 5 member squad for the state competition.

Trap
The Dragons brought home another State Championship and an additional Top-5 finish.

Abigail Garcia – 5th Place, Intermediate/Entry Level (80)

Super Sporting
Southlake Carroll earned a podium finish in Lady Varsity competition.

Skeet Doubles
The Dragons produced two of the top Skeet Doubles performances in Texas.

Charlize Pei – 2nd Place, Lady Varsity (49)

International Skeet
Southlake Carroll was represented in the championship finals by Charlize Pei.

Charlize Pei – Finalist, Top 6 Overall
Charlize advanced to the final round of International Skeet, competing among the six best shooters in the event and finishing sixth overall.

Bunker Trap
Another great event for Charlize in Bunker Trap.
Charlize Pei – **1st Place, State Champion with **26/30 targets in the championship final.
Tied the Junior Women's World Record for the final round
